Founders & Co. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Founders & Co. mobile application (the "App"). This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Name and email address (used for account creation and login)

• Profile photo (optional, uploaded by you)

• Professional information including title, company name, and company URL

• Bio, help tags, and "currently working on" status

• Social media profile links (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Threads, personal website)

Information collected automatically:

• Location data (used only to detect proximity to the clubhouse for check-in features — never stored or tracked)

• App activity including check-ins, event RSVPs, forum posts, and replies

User-generated content:

• Forum posts and replies

• Event RSVPs

• Check-in activity at the clubhouse

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your membership account

• Enable community features including the member directory, forum, and events

• Show real-time clubhouse presence to other members

• Send you notifications about community activity

• Improve the App and community experience

Information Sharing

Your profile information is visible to other Founders & Co. members within the App. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with advertisers.

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication

• Resend — transactional email delivery

• Expo — app infrastructure

Location Data

The App uses your device location solely to detect when you are near the Founders & Co. clubhouse. Location is used only to prompt check-in and is never stored, tracked, or shared.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your membership is active. If you delete your account, your profile and check-in history are deleted. Forum posts remain attributed to "Former member."

Your Rights

You may:

• Edit or update your profile at any time within the App

• Delete your account via Settings → Delete Account

• Contact us to request deletion of your data

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to This Policy
